Abundant Life heads to 8-man football jamboree

The Abundant Life/St. Ambrose 8-man football team will play in the WIAA Jamboree in Schofield Saturday.

This is the first year since 1976 that the WIAA sponsored 8-man football and 16 schools around the state fielded 8-man teams this season.

Abundant Life/St. Ambrose has taken advantage with an 8-0 record.

The Challengers will face Prairie Farm at 7 o'clock at Wayne Steffenhagen Field in Schofield Saturday night. 

ALCS senior Alex Pien says, "for us to get the opportunity to be a part of such a huge thing-- it's a really awesome experience!"
