Nick Fuller scores 18 of his 29 points in the second quarter and led his Sun Prairie Cardinals boys basketball team to an easy 79-64 win over the Verona Wildcats Thursday night in Verona.
The Wildcats kept it close early on. Freshman Cole Schmitz drained a long range 3 to fire up the home crowd.
But Sun Prairie took over in the second quarter. It was the Nick Fuller show as he proved why he was heading to play Big Ten basketball at Nebraska next year.
After a steal and a break away, Fuller slammed it down to seal it for the Sun Prairie cardinals.
The loss send Verona to 0-3 on the season, and 0-2 in conference.
