The right-hander allowed five hits and struck out four in six frames while improving to 23-2 in interleague games.After Adrian Gonzalez delivered a two-run double and Juan Uribe a two-run homer in Los Angeles' big first-inning rally, Avila and Davis had RBI singles to spark Detroit's five-run second. Cabrera capped the rally with a run-scoring single as Los Angeles starter Hyun-Jin Ryu (9-5) gave up eight hits in the frame, tying a Dodgers record.Ryu was chased by an RBI single by Davis in the third before Austin Jackson greeted reliever Jamey Wright with a sacrifice fly to make it 7-5.
