Platteville, Wis. -

The Potosi Chieftains beat Shullsburg 38-12 in the opening game of the Six Rivers Jamboree Saturday.

Last year Potosi made it to Camp Randall for the first time ever, but they had to settle for second place in division seven in 2012.

They started off 2013 on a high note. Potosi took a 22 nothing half time lead and never looked back.

Kyle Kaiser and Mitch Kuster connected for a pair of first half touchdowns to put the game out of reach.

Potosi travels to River Ridge on Friday.
