Packers linebacker A.J. Hawk had a chance to fly with the U.S. Navy's Blue Angels in LaCrosse on Wednesday afternoon.
Hawk says the planning was in the works for months and today he had a chance to jump on board with the famous stunt crew.
It completed a whirlwind day for Hawk who attended the Packers' first organized team activity in Green Bay in the morning, flew to LaCrosse to have his 45-minute flight with the Blue Angels, then returned back to Green Bay where he'll have another OTA practice tomorrow morning.
"I watched You Tube clips til like 2 in the morning of guys taking Blue Angels flights," said Hawk, "and it just got me excited and nervous all at the same time. I was talking to some of my buddies today on the field that said tomorrow, I might be a bit woosy out there, but we'll see- hopefully I'll recover by the morning."
