The Marquette Golden Eagles men's basketball team scored over 100 points for the first time in almost three years as they defeated Grambling State 114-71 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center Tuesday night.
Chris Otule scored 17 points and Steve Taylor added 16 points and 11 rebounds to help the 17th ranked Golden Eagles to its highest single-game point total under head coach Buzz Williams.
Marquette's 114 points are the most its scored singe a 118-60 win over Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1969.
The win extended Marquette's home-court winning streak to 27 games, the second longest in Division 1. South Dakota State has won 30 straight at home.
