The Madison Mallards are installing a new video board in left center field at Warner Park that is four times larger than the previous screen.
Thursday, workers installed the new 24 by 20 foot screen that will provide high resolution video to fans at the ballpark.
Not only will the video board provide highlights, replays, statistical information during games, on selected Friday nights when the Mallards are out of town, fans will be treated to movies on the big screen.
Tyler Isham of the Mallards says "We're going to have family nights where they can come out, sit on the outfield grass, watch movies, we're going to show family friendly movies out here, concessions will be open, just to create another event the north side of Madison and the rest of Madison can come and enjoy the park that the city has helped us put together."
The Mallards have their Northwoods season opener May 29th at Warner Park.
