MADISON, Wis. -

The Sherri Steinhauer Invitational took place Monday and Tuesday at Black Hawk Country Club. The event featured 50 of the best girls golfers from Wisconsin.

After the tournament ended, Steinhauer got the chance to visit with the girls and share the knowledge that made her a two-time major champion.

While the sport has taken Steinhauer all over the world, she still considers Madison home.

"Without Madison and all the support of the people here, I wouldn't be where I am today."

On the course, Middleton's Loren Skibba had the two-day low 149 to win the tournament. Two-time state champion Jessica Reinecke of Verona took third, posting a 155.
