ST FRANCIS, WI - Former Wisconsin Badgers guard Bronson Koenig had his pre-draft workout with the Milwaukee Bucks cut short Thursday after twisting his right ankle.
Koenig said he was about three-quarters of the way through the workout when he suffered the injury.
Koenig says it was disappointing and doesn't know how the injury will affect his schedule for workouts for other NBA teams in the weeks to come.
Koenig remained optimistic.
"It was a really good workout," he said. "I thought I was doing really well until I rolled my ankle a little bit but it's fine, so, but I thought I shot the ball pretty well and it was my first workout so it was fun, it was exciting."
