MADISON - Wisconsin Badger point guard Josh Gasser continues to make strides toward recovering from a torn ACL in his right knee just before the start of last season.
Gasser says he hopes to be 100 percent by the regular season opener November 8th, but so far, he hasn't returned to five-on-five drills as he continues his rehab.
"Gaining every muscle back, gaining every little movement, walking, relearning everything," Gasser says have been the biggest challenges.
He says he hasn't missed this much time playing basketball since he was three or four years old and says he thinks he watched every Big Ten game last season because he was watching the game he loves.
Gasser says his return to the court is coming soon and that he can't wait to get back.
The Badgers are practicing for an eight day, five-game trip to Canada in August. They'll make stops in Ottawa and Toronto.
