Girls basketball: Oregon comes back to beat MG

The Oregon girls basketball team came back to beat Monona Grove 69-64 Thursday night in a Badger South girls basketball game. The Panthers  (8-2, 4-0) are now in first place in the conference.

Oregon trailed 47-32 in the third quarter but they rallied to win the game.

Mady Gits led the Panthers with 20 points and Riley Rosemeyer added 15.

The Silver Eagles Taylor Nelson led all scorers with 24 points.

Monona Grove (3-1, 2-1) is ranked fourth in the state in Division 2, while the Panthers are 10th.
