Bucks finally win first pre-season game

Milwaukee defeats Knicks in Green Bay

GREEN BAY - Caron Butler scored 24 points and O.J. Mayo added 22 as the Milwaukee Bucks defeated the New York Knicks 105-95 in an NBA pre-season game in Green Bay Wednesday night.

It was the Bucks first win under new head coach Larry Drew.

The Bucks jumped out to a 32-23 lead after the first quarter and 56-45 at halftime.

The Knicks got to within two points in the fourth quarter, but Luke Ridnour's steady play helped keep the Bucks in front.

Ridnour scored 18 points and added 11 assists.

Carmelo Anthony led the Knicks with 22 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

Milwaukee is now 1-5 in the pre-season. New York drops to 2-4.
