Ellis' buzzer beater saves Bucks again

Milwaukee wins twice in "Texas Two-Step"

HOUSTON - Monta Ellis hit a three point shot as time expired to give the Milwaukee Bucks a 110-107 win over the Rockets in Houston Wednesday night.

With the game tied at 107, the Bucks had the ball in the final seconds.

It appeared time would run out on the Bucks, but Brandon Jennings flipped a pass to Ellis, who took an off balance 27-footer.

The ball bounced around the rim twice before falling through.

Replay confirmed that the ball had left Ellis' hand before time ran out, so the Bucks got the three point win.

It was the second straight night Ellis hit the game-winning shot. He scored the go-ahead basket in a 95-90 win in Dallas.

Ellis led all scorers with 27 points, while Ersan Ilyasova had 20 points and 10 rebounds for Milwaukee.

James Harden had 25 to lead Houston. Omer Asik had 16 points and 22 rebounds for the Rockets.

The win put the Bucks back to the .500 mark on the season - 28-28.
