The Milwaukee Brewers will get one of the top free agent pitchers on the market - Matt Garza.
Multiple reports say Garza will sign with the Brewers for four years and $52 million. The deal won't be final until Garza passes a physical after two injury-plagued seasons.
Garza, 30, pitched for the Cubs and Rangers last season.
In two seasons with the Cubs, Garza had 60 starts and was 21-18 with a 3.54 earned run average.
After being traded to Texas, he made 13 starts. In 2013, Garza was a combined 10-6 with a 3.82 ERA.
Garza joins Yovani Gallardo, Kyle Lohse, Marco Estrada and Wily Peralta in the projected Brewers starting rotation in 2014.
