Fourth-seeded and 14th-ranked Wisconsin (21-12-7) scored two power-play goals on its way to a 4-1 victory over top-seeded and seventh-ranked St. Cloud State (23-15-1) on Friday at Xcel Energy Center.
· Wisconsin advances to its first WCHA title game since 2000 and its first under Head Coach Mike Eaves.
· Badgers went 2-for-5 on the power play.
· Joseph LaBate, John Ramage, Nic Kerdiles and Tyler Barnes scored for the Badgers.
· Senior defenseman John Ramage scored his team-leading fifth game-winning goal of the season.
· Sophomore goaltender Joel Rumpel made 30 saves.
· Wisconsin owns a five-game winning streak and wins in seven of its last eight games.
