MADISON, Wis. -

Zack Greinke will start for the Milwaukee Brewers Tuesday night, but don't be surprised if there's a long line of suitors to try to get him in a trade right after that.

Brewers general manager Doug Melvin was in Madison Monday night to speak to the Northwoods League all-star banquet.

He said this weekend's sweep at Cincinnati will probably make the team sellers at the trade deadline.

“Yeah, we probably have to look at where we're at and the teams we're chasing at this point,” said Melvin. “It's a little different than last year and this week will be a busy week prior to the deadline.

“There's already been a number of trades today in the major leagues, so we prepare ourselves, obviously, to make the deal if we can make a deal if it's in the best interest of the club for the future,” said Melvin.

The Brewers are 44-51, 11 ½ games behind first place Cincinnati following Monday night’s loss.
