Former Braves shortstop to be inducted into Brewers Walk of Fame
Logan played in Milwaukee from 1953 to 1961
The Milwaukee Brewers say former Braves shortstop Johnny Logan will be inducted into the Miller Park Walk of Fame June 6.
Logan received more than 72 percent of votes from Brewers executives and Wisconsin media to land a spot on the Walk of Fame. The last player to be inducted was Braves pitcher Lew Burdette in 2010.
Logan played in Milwaukee from 1953 to 1961 and appeared in four All-Star Games as a member of the Braves. He hit .268 with 93 home runs and 547 RBI in his 13-year career. He was a member of the Braves World Series Championship team in 1957 and the National League Championship team in 1958.
The Walk of Fame is on the plaza area outside Miller Park near the statues of Robin Yount and Hank Aaron.
