The Buffalo Bills on Saturday signed tight end Dominique Jones. In accordance with team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The signing occurred the day after veteran Tony Moeaki injured his hamstring on Friday.
Jones entered the league in 2012 as an undrafted free agent with the Indianapolis Colts. The 6-foot-3, 270 pound Shepherd University product has appeared in 12 career games, starting three, while spending time with both the Colts and the Kansas City Chiefs. The three-year NFL veteran is 26 and a native of San Diego.
To make room for Jones, the Bills released offensive lineman Mark Asper, who had been in the mix to be the third-team right tackle.
