MADISON, Wis. -

Six Badger men's hockey players were named to the All-Big Ten team Monday, including Mark Zengerle, Jake McCabe, and Michael Mersch, who were all named All-Big Ten First Team. The team was selected by media and coaches. 

Zengerle leads the Badgers with 39 points. That ranks second in the conference. Mersch leads the Badgers with 20 goals and ranks third in the Big Ten with 33 points. McCabe ranks second among Big Ten defensemen, scoring 23 points.  

In addition, Joel Rumpel, Nic Kerdiles, and Frankie Simonelli were all named All-Big Ten Second Team. 

The Badgers play in the inaugural Big Ten Tournament this weekend in St. Paul, Minn.
