Badgers shut out by McKay

OXFORD, Ohio - The Badgers Men's Hockey team's roller coaster season continued Friday in Oxford, Ohio when Miami shutout Wisconsin 2-0. 

The Badgers fired 30 shots at Red Hawks goalie Ryan McKay, who didn't surrender a goal. 

Neither team scored in the first period. In the second period, Anothony Lewis got Miami on the board. Austin Czarnik added an empty net goal late in the third to make it 2-0. 

Badgers goalie Landon Peterson put forth a valiant effort, giving up just one goal on 34 shots. 

Wisconsin plays the Miami again on Saturday night at 6 p.m.
