MADISON, Wis. - Wisconsin football held "media day" Friday at Camp Randall Stadium. There, media members from across the state got the chance to meet the 2014 Badgers for the first time.
The team took the team photo in the stands of Camp Randall, the players talked to media and Gary Andersen held a press conference.
It didn't take long for the coach to turn his attention to the quarterback position. Incumbent starter Joel Stave and Tanner McEvoy will compete for the starting job in fall camp.
Stave has started the last two seasons, but has been inconsistent. McEvoy lost the battle for quarterback in 2013 and ended up playing safety last season.
Nevertheless, Andersen likes what he sees from both players.
"They both have a good look in their eye, which is exciting. They're both supporting each other, which is awesome to see."
Practice begins Monday morning at 6:20 a.m.
