Frank Kaminsky scored 22 points and Traevon Jackson added 14 as the Wisconsin Badger men's basketball team defeated Purdue 76-70 at the Kohl Center in Madison Wednesday night.
Kaminsky was 8 of 11 from the field and made four of his five three-point attempts.
The Badgers opened a 35-24 halftime lead. The Boilermakers closed the gap to within seven points twice in the second half, but Wisconsin held on for the win. Kendall Stevens hit a three-point shot at the end of the game to make the final margin six points.
Ronnie Johnson led Purdue with 15 points.
Wisconsin is 25-5 overall, 12-5 in the Big Ten. Purdue goes to 15-15 overall and 5-12 in the conference.
The Badgers won their eighth straight conference game - something Wisconsin hasn't done since the 1941 season.
The Badgers close out their regular season Sunday at Nebraska in a 6:30 pm CT start.
