Badger women's hockey defeats Bemidji State

Madison Packer's hat trick leads Wisconsin

WISCONSIN - Madison Packer had her second career hat trick as the Wisconsin Badger women's hockey team defeated Bemidji State 7-2 at LaBahn Arena Friday afternoon.

Sophomore Courtney Burke added three assists and junior Katy Josephs had two goals for the Badgers who moved their season record to 13-2-2, 9-2-2-1 in the WCHA.

Ann-Renee Desbiens made 14 saves for Wisconsin as she won her fifth decision without a loss this season.

Wisconsin and Bemidji State close out their weekend series Sunday afternoon at 2 at LaBahn Arena.
