MADISON - Due to an inclement weather forecast for Friday, the Wisconsin football team has moved its open practice to Monday afternoon.
The Badgers will scrimmage in Camp Randall Stadium, starting at 4 p.m. It is scheduled to last approximately 90 minutes and admission is free for all fans.
After giving away a pair of season tickets at last Saturday's open practice, one lucky fan in attendance will again win two season tickets for the 2013 season.
In addition, free pizza will be provided to all Wisconsin students and four students will win season tickets. Head coach Gary Andersen will briefly address the fans after practice.
Fans can enter Camp Randall Stadium through Gate 1 and can sit on the east side of the stadium beginning at 3:45 p.m. Bucky's Locker Room, located near Gate 1, will be open for shoppers before, during and after the open practice.
The Badgers will hold their annual Spring Game on Saturday, April 20, starting at 4 p.m.. Tickets to the game are $5 with all proceeds going to the UW School of Pharmacy. The game will also be televised live by BTN.
Prior to the Spring Game, UW will hold its annual Badger Kids' Fair, presented by First Choice Dental and UW Health. The event runs from 2-4 p.m. and will be held in the McClain Center, adjacent to the stadium.
The free event includes interactive games, displays, autographs, photos with Bucky and a number of athletic skills stations. Many UW sports will be represented at the fair, and kids will have an opportunity to meet current student-athletes.
