Washington defeats Wisconsin Women's Basketball
Second half lead evaporates for Badgers
The Washington Huskies rallied in the second half to defeat the Wisconsin Women's Basketball team 60-55 at the Kohl Center Wednesday night.
The Badgers had three players in double figures as Taylor Wurtz, Morgan Paige and AnnMarie Brown each scored 11.
Jazmine Davis led the Huskies with 22 points. Talia Walton scored 12 and Kristi Kingma scored 10 for Washington.
The Badgers had a 46-39 lead in the second half but Davls led Washington on the comeback.
The Huskies took the lead, 52-50 on a basket by Aminah Williams, then Davis hit a jumper and a 3-point basket and Washington held on from there.
Washington is now 3-1 on the season, while Wisconsin dropped to 2-2.
The Badgers host Evansville at the Kohl Center Sunday.
