Sixth Badger football assistant gets new job
Eddie Faulker will join Dave Doeren at NC State
North Carolina State has hired Badger football tight ends coach Eddie Faulkner to be its tight ends and fullbacks coach and special teams coordinator.
Faulkner becomes the sixth Wisconsin football assistant coach to find a new job since former Badger head coach Bret Bielema became Arkansas' head coach December 4th.
Faulkner will be reunited with NC State head coach Dave Doeren and Badgers offensive coordinator Matt Canada who will be NC State's offensive coordinator.
Two of Bielema's former UW assistants, Charlie Partridge and Chris Ash followed him to Arkansas. Linebackers coach Andy Buh is headed to California and wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni has accepted a position at Tennessee.
All six assistant coaches who have taken new jobs are expected to remain with the Badgers through the Rose Bowl January 1st against Stanford.
