Magazine says Miami coach offered head job at UW

MADISON, Wis. -

Wisconsin still has not hired a new football head coach, but they are making offers.

Sports Illustrated reported that University of Miami head coach Al Golden was offered the head coaching job at UW, but turned it down Thursday afternoon.

Golden just finished up his second season at Miami, and has a 13 and 11 record overall.
