Badgers won't look ahead, prep for Baylor in Sweet 16

Badgers to face Baylor in Sweet 16

MADISON, Wis. - The Badgers flew to California on Tuesday and they meet with the media and hold a practice at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. on Wednesday.

This is Wisconsin's third Sweet 16 in the last four seasons. Baylor is a 6 seed but they are playing very well right now. Wisconsin is coming off two big wins at Milwaukee over the weekend.

The badgers haven't been to the Elite 8 since 2005 but this team is not looking ahead.

"If you start looking ahead you get yourself in trouble. Right now our focus is Baylor the next game at hand and if you take care of business the rest of the stuff takes care of itself. If you are not ready to play in March there is something wrong with you," said UW senior Ben Brust.

"If you keep winning you will get there, so we just need to focus on winning taking on Baylor. Everything will fall into place and we do the things we do we will get there so our main focus is just to win," said UW sophomore Sam Dekker.

Wisconsin and Baylor face off at 6:47 p.m. Thursday on TBS.

Sports Director Jay Wilson will begin his reports Wednesday.
