Wisconsin hits .439 in impressive win

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - The second-ranked Wisconsin Badgers volleyball team made short work of Rutgers, 25-6, 25-11, 25-11 in a Big Ten match in New Brunswick, New Jersey Wednesday night.

Haleigh Nelson and Molly Haggerty both had 10 kills to lead the Badgers offensive attack.

Wisconsin hit .439 - its second highest percentage of the season.

Lauren Carlini had 31 assists and 10 digs for her 64th career double-double.

Wisconsin (13-1 overall, 5-0 Big Ten) hosts 24th ranked Illinois at the Fieldhouse Saturday night at 7:30 pm.

In another Big Ten match Wednesday, Penn State knocked off top-ranked Minnesota in five sets.
