Badger softball wins at Michigan, 9-3

Sara Novak drives in six

ANN ARBOR, MI - Sara Novak hit a grand slam and drove in six runs as the Wisconsin Badger softball team won at 6th ranked Michigan Friday afternoon, 9-3.

It was the fifth win over a ranked team for the Badgers this season who got a complete game from pitcher Taylor-Paige Stewart (14-5). She allowed three runs on six hits and struck out four.

Michelle Mueller and Maria Van Abel both added two hits and Mary Massei had a hit and scored two runs.

Wisconsin is now 32-16 overall and 14-6 in the Big Ten. Michigan is 39-10 overall and 17-4 in the Big Ten.

The Badgers and Wolverines meet again tomorrow in Ann Arbor at 6:30 CT.
