The New Orleans Saints fear that linebacker Parys Haralson has a torn pectoral muscle, Fox Sports reported Sunday.
Haralson left Saturday's wild card playoff against the Philadelphia Eagles in the first half with a chest injury.
Additional tests will be taken to confirm the extent of the injury but it is likely the Saints will be without Haralson for the rest of the playoffs.
The Saints visit the Seattle Seahawks next Saturday in the divisional round.
Haralson had 30 tackles and 3.5 sacks while starting eight games at outside linebacker for the Saints this season.
The Saints also lost cornerback Keenan Lewis to a concussion Saturday.
