Free agent defensive end Michael Bennett reportedly has signed a one-year contract with the Seattle Seahawks on Thursday.

ProFootballTalk.com reported the deal is worth $5 million. He agreed to the deal after visiting the Miami Dolphins.

Bennett had nine sacks for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last season.

It marked the third major move for the Seahawks since free agency opened two days ago. They traded for wide receiver Percy Harvin and signed defensive end Cliff Avril to a two-year contract.
