Silver Eagles Face 3-Time Champ Waunakee

MONONA GROVE -

The 2012 high school football season begins this week and Friday, Waunakee visits Monona Grove in the Prep Mania Game of the Week.

Waunakee has won the last three Division 2 WIAA State Football championships and the Warriors have won their last 36 straight games.

Monona Grove won another Badger South Conference title last season but made an early exit from the playoffs.

Many feel MG and Waunakee may meet again in the post season but right now, they're focused on the regular season opener for 2012.

The Prep Mania Game of the Week can be seen live Friday nights on TVW and channel3000.com.
