Leafs sign D Holzer to two-year extension

Defenceman Korbinian Holzer has signed a two-year contract extension with the Toronto Maple Leafs. The club made the announcement on Tuesday, but did not release terms of the deal that will see the 25-year-old in blue and white through the 2014-15 season. Holzer has played 16 games for the Leafs this season scoring two goals and registering 19 minutes in penalties.
