White Sulphur Springs, W. Va. -

Troy Kelley put on a clinic at the Greenbrier Classic on Saturday, shooting a blistering 8 under par 62 and briefly seizing the lead from Friday's leader Webb Simpson.

Under sunny skies at The Old White TPC course in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, Kelly blew by most of the field to come within two of the U.S. Open champion Simpson, who shot a 5 under 65 for the day.

Ken Duke, J.B. Holmes, Charlie Beljan, Ted Potter, Jr., Blake Adams, Graham DeLaet, Charlie Wi and Martin Flores rounded out the top 10 on Saturday.

Tiger Woods, still tuning up for the British Open later this month, did not make the cut.

The final round of the tournament will be held Sunday.
