With Greg Jennings likely headed out of Green Bay as a free agent, at least three other Packers wide receivers will be asked this question a lot in the coming weeks and months: Are you a No. 1 wideout? James Jones, who along with Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb could lay a claim to that spot in one of the NFL's most prolific passing offenses, took his turn answering the question when he was a guest Tuesday on NFL Network. "I'm ready," he said when asked whether he could be the No. 1 guy. "I work hard every year, and I'm ready to take that role if we don't get Greg back. Hopefully, I can continue to have success and make some plays to help the team out." Jennings, 28, is coming off a breakthrough season in which he set career highs in receptions (64), receiving yards (784) and touchdown catches (14). In fact, his 14 TD receptions led the league. His numbers – and those of Jennings (a two-time Pro Bowler), Nelson (who had 1,263 receiving yards and 15 TD catches in 2011) and Cobb (80 catches for 954 yards and eight TDs in 2012) – have thrown him into the mix as a potential No. 1 target on an offense where several players could be considered No. 1s. Jennings seems to be looking for a system where bigger numbers can lead to a bigger payday, but Jones told NFL Network he's satisfied being part of an offense in which several high-profile receivers share quarterback Aaron Rodgers' attention with pass-catching tight end Jermichael Finley.
