New York Mets outfielder Curtis Granderson returned to the lineup Sunday against the San Diego Padres after missing three straight starts due to a left calf injury.
Granderson served as a pinch hitter Thursday against the Milwaukee Brewers and Saturday against the Padres. He did not play Friday.
Granderson, 33, is in the first year of a four-deal, $60 million deal. He is batting .223 with eight home runs and 30 RBIs this season.
