SILVIS, Ill. -

Golfer Steve Stricker is trying to make history in Illinois this week at the John Deere Classic golf tournament.

Stricker has won the last three John Deere Classics and he told WISC-TV he hopes to relive the past this weekend.

"I'm very excited to be back. There's a lot of anticipation on my part being back here and the opportunity to win four in a row," said Stricker. "I don't feel the pressure that I have to go out and win this week. Although I want to and will try my hardest, but I can take a lot of pride and joy away from what's happened here over the years."

Steve Stricker bobblehead dolls were handed out to children at the golf course in Silvis, Ill.

If Stricker wins his fourth straight John Deere, it would make him the fifth golfer in the last 140 years to win the same tournament four years in a row.
