MADISON, Wis. -

A former University of Wisconsin Badger got his first NFL contract.

Kevin Zeitler signed a four-year deal with the Cincinnati Bengals with a team option for a fifth season.

Zeitler was the 27th overall pick in the first round.

The Bengals figure Zeitler will probably be their starter at right guard when the season starts.

Reports said Zeitler’s deal is worth about $7.5 million, with about $6 million in guaranteed money.
