ATLANTA -

Former Badger Bradie Ewing will miss his rookie season in the NFL with a knee injury.

Ewing, who was a fifth round draft pick of the Atlanta Falcons, hurt his knee on punt coverage in the first quarter of last night's Falcons game against the Batimore Ravens Thursday night.

He was carted off the field and Friday, it was reported Ewing suffered a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the year.

Ewing is a native of Richland Center, Wisconsin and was competing for a roster spot as a fullback and a kick return unit specialist.
