Cavs Sign Scott Williams

The Cleveland Cavaliers Tuesday signed veteran forward/center Scott Williams. As per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The 14-year pro out of North Carolina played in 43 games last season with the Phoenix Suns and Dallas Mavericks, averaging 4.6 points and 3.1 rebounds.

Williams has played in 727 career games, including 94 playoff contests. He also has career averages of 5.2 points and 4.8 rebounds.

Williams, who has also played for Philadelphia, Milwaukee and Denver, earned NBA championship rings with the Chicago Bulls from 1991-93.
