GAME WEEK IS HERE FOR THE WISCONSIN BADGERS.
THE SEASON OPENER COMES THIS SATURDAY IN HOUSTON AGAINST
IT'S AN - PM START WITH THE GAME TELEVISED ON ESPN.
Gary Andersen; We're right where we were - we've got
two quarterbacks that I think are going to help this
football team throughout the year and whoever takes
the first snap doesn't necessarily say he's the guy
for the whole season - we've got two kids who want
to compete and will continue to compete and that's
how we're going to stay with it .
You're going to hear the same thing from the coodinators,
you're going to hear the same thing from the quarterbacks
and that's where we sit..
THIS IS GOING TO BE QUITE AN EVENT.
THEY'LL PLAY IN THE HOUSTON TEXANS STADIUM-- IT'LL
BE TWO TOP 15 TEAMS, IT'LL BE BIG TEN AGAINST S.E.C.
IN FRONT OF A NATIONAL AUDIENCE.
IT HAS THE FEEL OF A BOWL GAME, BUT THE BADGERS ARE
TRYING TO KEEP ALL THAT IN PERSPECTIVE.
Warren Herring: Like I said, we're going to treat
this like any other game - it's a good opportunity
for us- it's a big stage, playing in Houston.
I'm honored, I'm blessed to be in this spot to be
able to play a team as good as LSU.
You know, they've had continued success - they've
had a tradition of success .
It's just a good opportunity for us to show what we
can do here at Wisconsin.
