There were plenty of heroes in the Packers' locker room Sunday, but the man of the hour lives thousands of miles away. Monday, he was the toast of the town in Green Bay.

Sunday morning, it was safe to say that no one had ever heard of Nathan Poole, but Monday, especially in Wisconsin, Poole is a household name. He's the reason the Packers are in the playoffs.

Poole made the miraculous catch with no time on the clock giving the Cardinals the win and knocking the Vikings out of the playoffs.

Now, Green Bay faithful want to thank Poole. The Green Bay mayor will give him the key to the city this weekend.

"I got a call today from a sports station saying what we're gonna do Nathan Poole. I said, 'Well, look, I'll invite him to be my guest at the game' and Nathan accepted. So it should be a fun weekend here in Green Bay," Green Bay Mayor James Schmitt said.

What makes this story even more amazing is that Poole was cut four times by the Cardinals.

This week, he was playing with the scout team. He was the guy playing Randy Moss, who was a college teammate of Poole's. But at least for one day, Poole was the bigger star.

"I feel good. After all I've been through, I just never dropped my head. I just kept pushing and kept a smile on my face. Good things happen to good people," Poole told 12 News.

The Packers will take on Mike Holmgren and the Seattle Seahawks Sunday at Lambeau Field at noon.

The Packers are playing their best football of the season. They've won seven of their last nine games and four straight.

They enter the postseason as one of the hottest teams in the NFL.

"The most dangerous team in the playoffs. People didn't want us to get in. I truly believe that. I don't think that any other teams really wanted us to get in because of all the different things that we can do," Packers safety Darren Sharper said.

Game Tickets

The team said that all 13,000 season tickets for the game Sunday against Seattle have been sold. They went for $84.

But you're not out of luck yet.

Ticket King told 12 News it has a good supply of tickets starting at $215 a piece, but if you want to go to the game, Ticket King said don't wait around too long.

You can also get Packers tickets on e-Bay. Prices range from $200 to $850.
