AN EARLY MORNING WAKEUP CALL FOR THE BADGERS
WHO WENT FROM 6 TO 8 AM THIS MORNING AT THE MCCLAIN
INDOOR FACILITY, WHICH MEANS SOME OF THE MEDIA HAD
TO GET UP EARLY, TOO.
JOEL STAVE MADE SOME THROWS IN A FEW DRILLS, BUT AGAIN,
HE'S BEING EASED BACK INTO THINGS AFTER HURTING HIS
SHOULDER IN THE CAPITAL ONE BOWL.
BUT AGAIN, BACK TO THE ISSUE OF GETTING EVERYONE UP
EARLY TO PRACTICE ON A WEDNESDAY MORNING.
GARY ANDERSEN SAYS THERE'S A REASON FOR IT..
Gary Andersen: The reason for it, it's the best time
with a lot of tests - a lot of things going on but
I think they handled it well.
Also want to give them curve balls through spring
ball as a young crew to see how they're handling the
adjustments on the schedule and surprises for the
coaches and surprises for the kids so it was a good
Overall, this crew - they're working hard.
We have a long ways to go on offense, defense and
special teams, but the care factor is there and they're
a fun crew to coach.
