Packers Receiver Makes Good On Promise
Jennings Earns College Degree At Western Michigan

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings has had a productive week. On Saturday, he was one of 2,600 graduates at Western Michigan University. Jennings also made his television acting debut on the CBS drama "Criminal Minds" on Wednesday night.It's been five years since he left Western Michigan, but he made true on a promise he made in high school, that he would earn a college degree. Jennings was one of 17 students from the first class of promise scholars from his hometown of Kalamazoo."So many great athletes, they go on and people view them as just wanting to make money and do that without anything else, but he sees a bigger picture that education is the way out," said Greg Jennings Sr.Jennings is best known for being a very productive receiver for the Packers and one of the best receivers in the NFL.
