MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association announced on Sunday the pairings for the state Boys Basketball Regional next week.

The tournament begins Tuesday, March 2.

In Division 1, Madison East High School and Beloit Memorial earn the two No. 1 seeds locally. East High School, which earned a share of the Big Eight crown, will have a first round bye in the Middleton sectional and play the winner of the La Crosse Central versus Baraboo game on Saturday, March 6.

James Madison Memorial High School earned the No. 2 seed in the same sectional and will face the winner of the Madison La Follette versus Holmen contest on Saturday.

Beloit Memorial gets the No.1 seed in their own sectional and will host the winner of Janesville Parker/Badger game.

Beaver Dam gets the No. 2 seed in the Oshkosh sectional and will host the winner of Fond du Lac and Oshkosh West on Saturday.
