MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin Badgers football team has three players on the First Team All-Big Ten Conference team. Running back John Clay, guard John Moffit and defensive lineman O'Brien Schofield all are on the first team.

But, the big, Big Ten honors go to Clay, who is named the Offensive Player of the Year and linebacker Chris Borland, who is named the Freshman of the Year.

Other Badgers earning recognition: Defensive back Jay Valai, tackle Gabe Carimi and tight end Garrett Graham earned Second Team All-Big Ten Conference honors. Borland, safety Chris Maragos, punter Brad Nortman, quarterback Scott Tolzien and wide receiver Nick Toon all received Honorable Mention.
