Posted: 12:25 am CST November 24,2009

(Sports Network) - Tim Duncan registered 24 points and 12 rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs surged to a 112-98 win over Milwaukee.

Matt Bonner went 6-of-8 from beyond the arc, on the way to a 23-point night for the Spurs, who have won two straight following a three-game skid. George Hill had 14 points off the bench, while Richard Jefferson and Roger Mason each scored 11 in the victory. Keith Bogans scored 10 for the Spurs.

"Tonight was one of those nights where everything was falling," said Bonner. "My teammates did a great job finding me and I was open, stepped in and made some shots."

Ersan Ilyasova scored 20 and had four steals and four rebounds for the Bucks, who had a three-game win streak broken. Hakim Warrick added 15 points, while Brandon Jennings chipped in 12 points and seven assists in the loss.

"It was just one of those nights where things don't go your way," said Jennings. "You have to find another way. I was trying to get my teammates involved. We just couldn't get it going."

Michael Redd, who had missed the last nine games due to a strained tendon in his left knee, came off the bench for the Bucks and finished with four points in 11 minutes of playing time.

Duncan scored 15 during a big third quarter, when the Spurs turned a one-point halftime deficit into a 12-point lead heading into the fourth. Duncan had six of the Spurs' points during a quarter-opening 8-0 spurt. A pair of free throws from the two-time league MVP capped the flurry for a 57-50 lead.

A layup from Charlie Bell brought the visitors within 63-61 midway through the quarter, but the Spurs were able to widen the lead late in the stanza. Hill's three-pointer at the end of the period provided the 86-74 advantage moving to the fourth.

San Antonio's lead reached 21 in the fourth as Bonner nailed a trey for a 108-87 margin with under three minutes left.

The Spurs carried a 23-18 lead after 12 minutes and upped that to a 15-point difference in the second before the Bucks rallied. Milwaukee scored the final 12 points of the quarter to grab the 50-49 lead at the break.

Game Notes:

Milwaukee is 1-1 on a four-game road trip with upcoming games against New Orleans and Oklahoma City...The Spurs are 2-1 on a four-game homestand, which concludes Wednesday against Golden State...Tony Parker had six points and six assists for the Spurs, while Carlos Delfino scored 11 for the Bucks.
