CHESTER HILL, Mass. -- An incredible run for the University of Wisconsin women's soccer team has come to an end. Wisconsin lost to Boston College in first round of the NCAA tournament 1-0.Badgers goalie Michelle Dalton made seven saves on the night, but gave up one goal in the game and it was the only one scored by either team. Brooke Knowlton scored for the Eagles at 61:57 in the second period. Knowlton played 21 minutes. She had five shots and four of them were on goal.Badgers coach Laura Wilkings said earlier this week that this year's success will play a key role for the program in the years to come."At the beginning of the year," said Wilkins. "We talked about finishing in the top half of the Big Ten and getting and NCAA bid, those were our goals and I think that the experience we're gaining now especially since they're so young will have a benefit if we use it in the right direction."Sixteen teams took part in the opening round of the tournament in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
