SLIDESHOW: See Snapshots From Badgers, Grizzlies Game"The people I've talked to tell me the most talented teams tend to win. You can have the best talent and not win," said Badgers coach Bo Ryan. "But, out there because the lack of preparation and you don't do your normal routine or whatever, that the better athletes take over."Eight teams will take part in the tournament. The Badgers open on Monday against Arizona. If they win they go to the winner's bracket and if they lose they go to the loser's bracket. Part of a challenge for coaches in a format like this is the unknown."We won't get our normal preparation," Ryan said. "Neither will the other team, so one of the things we do rely on was preparation."The Badgers' second game on Tuesday will either be against Gonzaga or Colorado. Gonzaga defeated Colorado 76-72. If the Badgers win they play Gonzaga if they lose they'll play Colorado. The third and final game on Wednesday will be against one of the other four teams in the tournament: Chaminade, Maryland, Cincinnati or Vanderbilt."There are teams that have gone out there to Maui and played extremely well and they fizzled during the season," Ryan said. "And there are teams that have gone out to Maui and gotten into some good tough games, maybe didn't look that good, but when they came back there were things that they learned.""We just look forward to the competition," Badgers forward Jon Leuer said. "It's going to be, we're going there with something to prove. We know what we have to do. We're going to try and take advantage of the whole experience, but we're there for basketball. Like I said we're going then looking to be competitive."Tipoff between the Badgers and the Wildcats is set for 11 p.m. Monday. The game will be televised on ESPN.
